Making a meal of efficiency

Short of time? Apparently we can save an extra hour every day by sharpening our daily routines. Consultants from the Bavarian Economic Efficiency Foundation (no, it’s not a joke) and Proudfoot studied how 100 people dressed, washed and ate. Crispin White of Proudfoot says: “I observed my wife preparing dinner and then shared my notes with her. I pointed out that she could have been much more productive by carrying several things at once. The process does work; before she used to take 30 minutes whereas now it takes me only 10.” Is she so cross that he is now forced to make dinner, I wonder.

It has a date line of 31st March – it was supposed to be 1st April.  The timing on the press release was wrong.  Whoops.
